Advanced Training in Fire Fighting (AFF) – Update

Training – Theory and Practical

This course is mandatory for all who need to update their original AFF course as specified in
Table A-VI/3 of the STCW Code.

Duration: 1 day
Validity:   5 years

Additional Requirements:

Evidence of attending AFF in the form of a valid certificate. Certificates that have expired for no more than 1 year are acceptable.

Proof of a minimum of 6 months of sea time in the last 5 years prior to the course.

Note: Due to the regulations, only Polish certificates can be updated.
